The PHOTONIA ceiling light is made of aluminium and clear glass which completely encloses the lamp. Thanks to the position of the built-in sockets, the installed luminaire produces a homogeneous cone of light. It is suitable for use outdoors thanks to its IP44 protection class. The electrical connection is made directly to the 230V mains supply.

Requirement for safety measures in place against electric shocks, applying to electric devices.
Protection category I: Protective earthing
Protection category II: Protective insulation
Protection category III: Protective extra-low voltage
IP = Ingress Protection. Indicates the level of protection for the housing against external influences, in compliance with DIN EN 60529. The first figure describes protection against foreign bodies, the second figure describes protection against water. The higher the individual values are, the higher the respective protection level is.
Number of sockets
Indicates which impact energy the light can be exposed to. This value is important, for example when determining if lighting is safe enough to throw balls in sports halls. (Unit: Joule)
Primary nominal voltage
Shock resistance category
Indicates resistance or impact resistance levels of electrical equipment housings against mechanical wear and tear. The higher the category is, the higher the level of protection. (Unit: IK)
